O sun, you who appeared from

O sun that has risen from

the tower of the heavens of the treasures of the unseen,

the tower of the heavens of hidden treasures

أَشرقْتِ في الأُفقِ وإنَّ الذي

أَشرقْتِ في الأُفقِ وإنَّ الذي

نعجَبُ منه أنتِ ضمنَ القُلوبْ

نعجَبُ منه أنتِ ضمنَ القُلوبْ

You shone on the horizon, and what

You have risen on the horizon, and what

amazes us is that you are within hearts.

we wonder at is you being in hearts

إِزْوِ بنورِ القُربِ ليلَ الجَفا

إِزْوِ بنورِ القُربِ ليلَ الجَفا

فلا اعْتَراكِ الدَّهرَ آناً غُروبْ

فلا اعْتَراكِ الدَّهرَ آناً غُروبْ

Fold away the night of estrangement with the light of nearness;

Marry the light of nearness to the night of estrangement

so may no setting ever overtake you, even for a moment.

So time will never make you set
