إياكَ عن عظمَ الغني من غفلةٍ

إياكَ عن عظمَ الغني من غفلةٍ

هي للمرؤةِ في الشريعةِ صادمه

هي للمرؤةِ في الشريعةِ صادمه

Beware of exalting the rich out of heedlessness.

Beware of belittling the wealthy out of heedlessness

It is an affront to honorable conduct under religious law.

It is for the virtuous woman in religious law an adversary

وإذا رأيت فتىً يؤلُ لفاطمٍ

وإذا رأيت فتىً يؤلُ لفاطمٍ

فاضممه واحفظ فيه ذمَّة فاطمه

فاضممه واحفظ فيه ذمَّة فاطمه

And if you see a young man descended from Fatima,

And if you see a young man devoted to Fatimah

then embrace him and uphold, in him, the obligation owed to Fatima.

Shelter him and in him preserve Fatimah's honor
