ياO رَبُّLord قَدindeed أَصبَحتُI have become أَرbeginning of 'I hope in You'
يا رَبُّ قَد أَصبَحتُ أَر
جوكَcompletion of 'I hope in You' وَأَرجوand I hope for كَرَمَكYour generosity
جوكَ وَأَرجو كَرَمَك
O Lord, I have come to hope
O Lord, I have come to you hoping
in You, and I hope for Your generosity.
And seeking your kindness.
ياO رَبُّLord ماhow أَكثَرَabundant ماthat (introducing the following action)
يا رَبُّ ما أَكثَرَ ما
كَثَّرتَYou have multiplied عِنديfor me نِعَمَكYour blessings
كَثَّرتَ عِندي نِعَمَك
O Lord, how greatly
O Lord, how abundant
You have multiplied Your blessings for me!
Are the blessings you have granted me.
ياO رَبُّLord عَنwith regard to إِساءَتيmy wrongdoing
يا رَبُّ عَن إِساءَتي
ياO سَيِّديmy Master ماhow أَحمَلَكforbearing You are
يا سَيِّدي ما أَحمَلَك
O Lord, in the face of my wrongdoing,
O Lord, for all my wrongdoings
O my Master, how forbearing You are!
What patience you have shown, my Master.
