لِأَجلِكِ سَعيِي وَاِجتِهادي وَخِدمَتي

لِأَجلِكِ سَعيِي وَاِجتِهادي وَخِدمَتي

وَيا لَيتَ هَذا كُلُّهُ فيكَ يُثمِرُ

وَيا لَيتَ هَذا كُلُّهُ فيكَ يُثمِرُ

My striving, my diligence, and my service are for your sake.

For you my efforts, my toil and my service

And oh, would that all this bore fruit with you!

Oh, if only all this for you bears fruit

تَبِعتُ الَّذي يُرضيكَ في كُلِّ حالَةٍ

تَبِعتُ الَّذي يُرضيكَ في كُلِّ حالَةٍ

فَإِن كُنتَ لَم تُبصِرهُ فَاللَهُ يُبصِرُ

فَإِن كُنتَ لَم تُبصِرهُ فَاللَهُ يُبصِرُ

I have followed what pleases you in every circumstance.

I followed what pleases you in every state

So if you have not seen it, God sees it.

If you did not see it, God does see

وَوَاللَهِ ما مِثلي مُحِبٌّ وَمُشفِقٌ

وَوَاللَهِ ما مِثلي مُحِبٌّ وَمُشفِقٌ

وَسَوفَ إِذا جَرَّبتَ غَيرِيَ تَذكُرُ

وَسَوفَ إِذا جَرَّبتَ غَيرِيَ تَذكُرُ

And by God, none loves and cares as I do.

By God, none loves and cares like I do

And when you have tried someone other than me, you will remember.

And when you try others, you will remember

فَما شِئتَ مِن أَمرٍ فَسَمعاً وَطاعَةً

فَما شِئتَ مِن أَمرٍ فَسَمعاً وَطاعَةً

فَما ثَمَّ إِلّا ما تُحِبُّ وَتُؤثِرُ

فَما ثَمَّ إِلّا ما تُحِبُّ وَتُؤثِرُ

So whatever you wish to command, I hear and obey.

Whatever you want in command, obediently I hear

For there is nothing but what you love and prefer.

There is none but what you love and prefer

عَلَيَّ بِأَنّي لا أُخِلُّ بِخِدمَةٍ

عَلَيَّ بِأَنّي لا أُخِلُّ بِخِدمَةٍ

وَأَبذُلُ مَجهودي وَأَنتَ المُخَيَّرُ

وَأَبذُلُ مَجهودي وَأَنتَ المُخَيَّرُ

I am bound not to fall short in any service,

I am charged that I do not fail in service

And I give my utmost; you are free to choose.

I spend my effort, while you get to choose
