يا مَن تَوَّهَمَ أَنّي لَستُ أَذكُرُهُ

وَاللَهُ يَعلَمُ أَنّي لَستُ أَنساهُ

Oh you who imagines that I do not remember him

By Allah, He knows that I do not forget him

وَظَنَّ أَنّي لا أَرعى مَوَدَّتَهُ

حاشايَ مِن ظَنِّهِ هَذا وَحاشاهُ

And thought that I do not tend to his affection

Far from me is this notion of his and far from it is he
