وَقَد زَعَمَت أَنَّها

وَلَيسَت بِتِلكَ الَّتي

وَلَيسَت بِتِلكَ الَّتي

And she has claimed that she is ...

And pretends that she is

yet she is not that woman who ...

Not who she is

فَلا وَجهَ إِن أَقبَلَت

فَلا وَجهَ إِن أَقبَلَت

وَلا رِدفَ إِن وَلَّتِ

وَلا رِدفَ إِن وَلَّتِ

So, no face when she approaches,

So neither her face interests me if she comes near

and no rump when she turns away.

Nor her behind if she turns away
