1. O you who descend from the summit of glory
Dust of disgrace is upon you

2. Exhaustion, stubbornness, wisdom and dignity
Have overcome them

3. You hasten erratically like a flock
Driven by the butcher, back bent

4. Toward a despicable, filthy swamp
Full of mud, passion and loss

5. But I see you rejoicing
With joy and cheer on your faces

6. It is no swamp, but gardens
Full of goodness, wealth and fruit

7. Where we pasture the sons of uncles who wanted
Our peace and neighborliness to be maintained

8. I said your misery, peace is a commitment
Not mere words, deceit and harm

9. How can there be peace for the innocent rabbit
When a sly fox lurks

10. Among its victims are its generosity, meadows
Olives and birds?

11. Do not say the price of peace is land
How strange it is for the wolf to be a neighbor!

12. While the owners wander lost
No sleep, no way back, no choice

13. Where? Nowhere, the path is darkness
Nothing but fangs and claws

14. Do not say the price of peace is land
The land is our honor and pride

15. It is within us, our blood and disgrace
And the pulse of hearts and eyes

16. It is the endowment of Islam, it lived and we lived
And over it towers glory

17. It is the endowment of Islam, we protect its sanctuary
And for those who wish it harm, there is destruction

18. O you who descend from the summit of glory
And are led by disgrace and shame

19. What you have sold is precious
Its measly price, meters

20. Over your heads the thieves’ sword
Execute the order or it will sever

21. I said may God have mercy on Kunayn
For its shoe had value and meaning

22. How can you dishonor when your ancestors are the best
Of the best, the finest of fine?

23. How can you dishonor when heroism is in you
Its lines, from old, are radiant?

24. There were men in our shining past
Today it is all empty

25. There were Bilal, Sa'd, Al-Muthanna
And Jafar the flier

26. And Suhayb, Khalid and Sa'id
And Ali and the purest of the pure

27. How can you be content when in disgrace there is loss
Collapse, vilification and abasement?

28. How when the religion says death
Should be like a bridal and there should be no descent?

29. How when the religion says our blood
Cannot be shed unresentfully and day does not die?

30. So if the sanctity of truth is violated
It is fire and consuming flames

31. O you fallen into the mud of humiliation
It is forbidden for others to be harmed!

32. Look, the Samaritan revels happily
His god is the calf, passion and pleasure

33. And loose Salome dances indecently
So supporters sway and celebrate

34. Her concern is the head of John the virtuous
Let happen what may happen or be aroused

35. O Messenger of guidance, Muhammad, forgive us
There are no more excuses in our lives

36. The land of your night journey has been ravaged by enemies
And its affairs handled by the immoral

37. O Messenger of jihad and truth, we
Our book today is disgrace and defeat

38. And bitter humiliation covers our vision
And defeat of feeling is our motto

39. How will we meet you one day, O Muhammad
When secrets cannot be concealed?

40. Shall we turn our faces in fear of shame?
Never! Judgement will be public

41. But comfort is that men
In southern Lebanon rose up and rebelled

42. They swore to God they would be flames
So the pure and free would prevail

43. Their slogan is fire
And rockets, O the best slogan!

44. They sowed terror in enemies' hearts
So their night was sleepless and day was glory's

45. Neither shelters nor fortresses could protect them
Nor escape from death deliver them

46. No home could contain their fears
So sleep and rest deserted them

47. O you leaders, pardon me, stand aside
For with you came ruin to the countries

48. You are bush's donkeys
And straw men for Olmert, descending

49. You disgraced your people so you were disgraced
And contempt for you from the enemy came

50. Whoever is disgraced, humiliation comes easily to him
No harm comes to the dead from injury

51. So leave the matter to the resistance to complete
With its hands the solution and decision

52. There is no salvation in shame and weakness
On the damned road is devastation

53. Do not think weakness will open a door
Through which abundance will come to us

54. It is a door for enemy domination
Through it is humiliation, loss and harm

55. And tomorrow the meadows will be grazing lands
Overrun by Jews and the immoral

56. O leaders, pardon me, stand aside
For with you came destruction to the lands

57. And Qassam fighters are fire and storm
With bitter jihad they rose up and rebelled

58. Making the tunnels volcanoes of death
And with their hands the wall will collapse

59. O men of the south, knights of God
Your mines are flames and triumph

60. You are, through jihad and the pure
Fiery youth, towering pride

61. And the cries of children in the square of terror
O little ones, great ones

62. O children of Hebron and Aqsa Mosque
Nablus, you are the intrepid

63. Today through jihad you are men
Blessed is your hand with which you throw stones

64. It is for demolition, and for building, a foundation
Its echo is the fires and the lights

65. From the folds of agony you came as a warner
Whose reverberations shook the wicked

66. From the glow of the shrine you came as a giver of good news
After it will come our fragrant dawn

67. And the birds will happily return to the meadows
Homes and cities will return
