5. They came cutting across the desert and the city eagerly
To the best of houses that settled the desert and the city

6. They walked on and the hands of doom stretched to them

8. Rather, they stood to face blows and stabbings
As if they, in it, stood upon embers

11. Their pilgrim-dress refused any garment
Except the garment of patience they put on

12. Marvel at them as they are slaughtered as though
Their sacrifice those days sacrificed at Minฤ

13. Comrades who pitched their tents never to be taken down
A caravan and delegation that will not return to Hashr

14. Their pilgrim garments turned white for them
And they went to the graves in red garments

15. They were not washed with water, but with their blood
And were not embalmed, except with dust, no perfume

16. So magnify the provisions for them, even if it were a tenth of what
We provided for them, of furniture and seeds

17. Most of them the same grave in the earth embraced
Blessed are they, the best beloved, in the best grave

18. Thousands of youths and old men, it brought them together
A tomb, its sides close to the bottom

ูกูจ. ุฃูู„ูˆููŒ ู…ู† ุงู„ุดุจู‘ุงู†ู ูˆุงู„ุดูŠุจ ุถู…ู‘ูŽู‡ูู…ู’
ู‚ูŽู„ููŠุจูŒ ู‚ุฑูŠุจูุงู„ุฌุงู†ุจูŠู† ู…ู† ุงู„ู‚ูŽุนู’ุฑ

19. I have not seen buried more plentifully than them
And they have no grave but one grave

20. They did not plummet into a pit, but raced
To a green meadow between green meadows

ุฅู„ู‰ ุฑูŽุจู’ูˆูŽุฉู ุฎุถุฑุงุกูŽ ุจูŠู† ุฑุจู‰ู‹ ุฎูุถู’ุฑ

21. To a blossoming garden which became more flowery
From their shining faces it encountered

ูขูก. ุฅู„ู‰ ุฌูŽู†ู‘ูŽุฉู ุฒู‡ุฑุงุกูŽ ุชุฒุฏุงุฏู ุฒู‡ุฑุฉู‹
ุจู…ุง ูˆุงุฌู‡ุชู’ ู…ู†ู‡ู…ู’ ู…ู† ุงู„ุฃูˆุฌูู‡ู ุงู„ุฒู‘ูู‡ู’ุฑ

22. Our pilgrims, why do I see travel coming
And I do not see you coming with travel

ูˆู„ุณุช ุฃุฑุงูƒู… ุขูŠุจูŠู†ูŽ ู…ุนูŽ ุงู„ุณูุฑ

23. You dwelled by the Ancient House, so excellent
Was your eternal dwelling until the end of time

ูขูฃ. ุฃุฌุงูˆุฑุชู…ู ุงู„ุจูŠุชูŽ ุงู„ุนุชูŠู‚ูŽ ูุญุจู‘ูŽุฐุง
ุฌูˆุงุฑูƒู…ู ุงู„ุจุงู‚ูŠ ุฅู„ู‰ ุขุฎุฑู ุงู„ุฏู‡ุฑ

24. A dwelling of pilgrims about whom there is no circumambulation
Nor saสฟฤซ during the station of night or dawn

ูˆู„ุง ุณูŽุนู’ูŠูŽ ููŠ ู…ูŠู‚ุงุชู ู„ูŠู„ู ูˆู„ุง ูุฌุฑ

25. And they said grief is what will console you about them
But where is grief so it may console or beguile

26. They were startled in a place where birds are safe
And where beasts do not fear being startled

ูขูฆ. ู„ู‚ุฏ ุฐูุนูุฑูˆุง ููŠ ุญูŠุซู ู„ู„ุทูŠุฑู ู…ุฃู…ู†ูŒ
ูˆููŠ ุญูŠุซู ู„ุง ุชูŽุฎู’ุดูŽู‰ ุงู„ูˆุญูˆุดู ู…ู† ุงู„ุฐู‘ูุนู’ุฑ

27. O children of Islam, how much bliss
Snatched by the hands of the wretched disbelievers

ูขูง. ููŠุง ู„ุจูŽู†ูŠ ุงู„ุฅุณู„ุงู…ู ูƒู… ู…ู† ุณุนุงุฏุฉู
ุญูŽูˆูŽูˆู’ู‡ุง ุจุฃูŠุฏูŠ ุงู„ุฃุดู‚ูŠุงุกู ุจู†ูŠ ุงู„ูƒูุฑ

28. By the hands of those of betrayal and enmity, it is as if
Their souls are in the grip of betrayal and enmity

ูขูจ. ุจุฃูŠุฏูŠ ุฐูˆูŠ ุบุฏุฑู ูˆุบูŠู‘ู ูƒุฃู†ู†ูŠ
ุจุฃุฑูˆุงุญู‡ู…ู’ ููŠ ู‚ุจุถุฉู ุงู„ุบูŠู‘ู ูˆุงู„ุบุฏุฑ

29. Beasts whose foreheads never prostrated
Nor were their palms accustomed to spreading in purity

ูขูฉ. ุจู‡ุงุฆู…ู ู„ู… ุชุฃู„ูู’ ุณุฌูˆุฏุงู‹ ุฌุจุงู‡ูู‡ูู…ู’
ูˆู„ุง ุฃู„ููˆุง ุจูŽุณู’ุทูŽ ุงู„ุฃูƒูู‘ู ุฅู„ู‰ ุงู„ุทู‘ูู‡ุฑ

30. The mention of fasting never passed between their homes
Nor threaded through a hearing or meandered in a chest

ูฃู . ูˆู„ุง ู…ุฑู‘ูŽ ุฐูƒุฑู ุงู„ุตู‘ูŽูˆู’ู…ู ุจูŠู† ุจูŠูˆุชูู‡ูู…ู’
ูˆู„ุง ุฎุงุถูŽ ููŠ ุณู…ุนู ูˆู„ุง ุฌุงู„ูŽ ููŠ ุตูŽุฏู’ุฑ

31. Pilgrimage to the House was not what they wore
The fringes and robe for sternness and desert

ุฅู„ูŠู‡ ุฃู‡ุงูˆูŠู„ูŽ ุงู„ู…ู‡ุงู…ู‡ู ูˆุงู„ู‚ูุฑ

32. Rather, we performed pilgrimage, so woe unto them!
Indeed they carried a heavy burden of sins

33. They saw the plunder as war booty for themselves
Yet it is only loss without any profit

ูฃูฃ. ุฑุฃูˆุง ู…ุง ุฑุฃูˆุง ู…ู† ู†ู‡ุจู‡ู ู…ุบู†ู…ุงู‹ ู„ู‡ู…

34. And they thought what they gained was wealth
By God, they gained nothing but poverty

35. My Lord, do not delay punishing Your enemy, pelt him
With the pelting that breaks necks and backs

36. Take vengeance for Your religion from them
For they have deprecated it, scorning the oaths

37. My God, bring upon them the days of Aad
And a day like the day of Thamud and Al-Hijr

ูฃูง. ุฅู„ู‡ูŠ ุฃูŽุนูุฏู’ ุฃูŠุงู…ูŽ ุนุงุฏู ุนู„ูŠู‡ู…ู
ูˆูŠูˆู…ุงู‹ ูƒูŠูˆู…ูŽูŠู’ ุฃู‡ู„ู ู…ุฏูŠู†ูŽ ูˆุงู„ุญูุฌู’ุฑ

38. And aid the Commander of the Faithful and his sword
With a victory just as You, Creator of Victory, made customary
