فَلَمّا رَأَينا أَنَّهُ شَرُّ مَنزِلٍ

رَمينا بِهِنَّ اللَيلَ حَتّى تُخُرِّما

So when we saw that it was the worst lodging,

When we saw that it was the worst of dwellings

we hurled them through the night until it was spent.

We spent the night tossing until it was perforated
