تُعَدُّ إِذاعُدَّ الفَوارِسُ مِن مُضَر
Indeed, you were a tailor, then became a horseman.
You were once a tailor, but now you are a knight,
You are counted when the horsemen of Mudar are counted.
Counted among warriors of the tribe of Mudar.

So if you have denied this, then say so,
If you deny this, then speak up and say so,
And show me the wound that had faded away.
Reveal to me the wound which you tried to hide.

And your middle finger bears witness to it,
Your middle finger bears witness,
And that is nothing but its pricking the garment with needles.
Pierced as it was by the needle and thread.
