هَلَكتَ وَأَهلَكتَ العَشيرَةَ كُلَّه

هَلَكتَ وَأَهلَكتَ العَشيرَةَ كُلَّه

فَنَهدُكَ نَهدٌ لا أَرى لَكَ أَرقَما

فَنَهدُكَ نَهدٌ لا أَرى لَكَ أَرقَما

You have perished and brought ruin upon the whole clan.

You have perished, and caused the whole tribe to perish,

For your Nahd is but Nahd; I see no Arqam on your side.

So I mourn for you with a grief that knows no respite.
