Whoever among us falls into poverty after this, may he never recover,
Those who climbed after him could gain no honor,
Nor draw water, nor see the trees.

The sons of Lujaym and the contemptible little men of Mudar
The tribes of Lujaim and Jasaas, descended from Mudar,
Drive the camel herds along the edge of al-Daww.
At the side of the vat, stirring the dregs.
