    So when we descended to the valley floor of Raninah with spears,

    A cloud roared, its thunder echoing back and forth.

    And Indian swords were drawn by us, as though they were

    Twisted cloth whips grasped by playful hands.

    With them we assuage the rancor between us,

    And keen-cutting swords gleam proudly in our hands.

    ترانا بها نسعى إذا ما نُضاربُ

    Brandished, their colors are Himyarite;

    You see us rush with them when we trade blows.

    And a campsite where the tall spears seem like

    The dry fragments of trees broken up by women gathering firewood.
