You celebrated fifty-five years, replete

You celebrated your fifty-fifth birthday

With every blessing save money and property.

With every blessing but money and youth

فعش لأمثالها تكفَ الثراء بها

فعش لأمثالها تكفَ الثراء بها

باللفظ في قولنا يوبيلك الذهبي

باللفظ في قولنا يوبيلك الذهبي

So live to see more such years; through them you will have wealth enough—

So live for the likes of it, it is enough wealth

In words, when we say, 'your golden jubilee.'

We say in our words, may your golden jubilee be blessed
