Kamal—perfection—was born, and glad tidings of him were proclaimed

By a day radiant in its evening and morning.

حُلوٌ كزنبقةِ الربيع نضارةً

حُلوٌ كزنبقةِ الربيع نضارةً

متوسَّمٌ في مقلتيه فَلاحُه

متوسَّمٌ في مقلتيه فَلاحُه

Sweet, fresh as a springtime lily,

His success is foretold in his eyes.

اللهُ يُحييه لأكرَمِ والدٍ

اللهُ يُحييه لأكرَمِ والدٍ

تَمَّت بمولِدِهِ له أفراحُه

تَمَّت بمولِدِهِ له أفراحُه

May God preserve him for the noblest of fathers,

Whose joys were made complete by his birth.

نُعمى لبيتٍ عَزَّزَتْه رجالُه

نُعمى لبيتٍ عَزَّزَتْه رجالُه

وتكمَّلَتْ بالمكرُمَاتِ مِلاحُهُ

وتكمَّلَتْ بالمكرُمَاتِ مِلاحُهُ

A blessing for a house strengthened by its men,

And whose fair ones were perfected by noble deeds.

ين البيوت الغرّ أرّخ فائقٌ

ين البيوت الغرّ أرّخ فائقٌ

بيتٌ تعزَّزَ بالكمالِ صلاحه

بيتٌ تعزَّزَ بالكمالِ صلاحه

[Among] the illustrious houses—mark the date!—preeminent
