هذا ضريح الطيّبين فقِف بِهِ

وانثُرْ عليه طيّيباتِ زهورِ

This is the tomb of the virtuous, so stop by it

And scatter upon it fragrant flowers

مثوى بني الخوري الذين عرفْتَهم

أهلَ الوفاء وموئلَ المغدورِ

It is the resting place of the Khoury family whom you knew

The people of loyalty and the refuge of the oppressed

لمّا ثوى فيه عميدُهُمُ ثوى

رَجُلُ المروءةِ والندى المأثورِ

When their leader was laid to rest in it, he was laid to rest

The man of integrity, generosity and noble lineage

من طاف في مَثواهُ أرّخْ لاهجٌ

يبكي السخاءُ على نقولا الخوري

Let whoever comes by his tomb recite a poem
