اليوم عاد إلى المحلة روحها

ومزيل علة أهلها ومريحها

واستبشرت بعد العبوس وإنما

And it rejoiced after frowning, for only

its trusted guardian and sincere counselor took charge of affairs.

عادت إلى الحال القديم فأصبحت

لا يشتطي ألم السقام صحيحها

It returned to its former state, and now

لاشك إلا أن مدة نحسها

زالت فهبت بالسعادة ريحها

Undoubtedly, its period of misfortune

has ended, and its wind blew, bringing good fortune.

Has passed, so the winds of happiness blew for it

فرحت بسيف الدين فرحة مهجة

فرحت بسيف الدين فرحة مهجة

وافى إليها بالحياة مسيحها

وافى إليها بالحياة مسيحها

It rejoiced in Sayf al-Din with the joy of a soul

It rejoiced in Saif Al-Din with an intense joy

whose Messiah came to it bearing life.

And he brought life back to it like a healer
