والأجر عنه لك مكتوب
Your striving for Friday prayer is credited,
Your efforts on Fridays are counted,
And the reward for it is recorded for you.
And the reward for it is written for you.
ماnot فاتتhas eluded الجمعةFriday prayer منone who لمhas not يفتeluded
ما فاتت الجمعة من لم يفت
عزمتهhis resolve فيfor the sake of اللهGod مطلوبa sought-after goal
عزمته في الله مطلوب
Friday prayer has not eluded one whose
Whoever did not miss Friday, did not miss it,
Resolve for God's sake has let no sought-after goal escape.
His determination in God is required.
يكفيكsuffices you فضلاًas a distinction أنthat نعتthe epithet التقىpiety
يكفيك فضلاً أن نعت التقى
إليكto you دونto the exclusion of الناسother people منسوبascribed
إليك دون الناس منسوب
It is distinction enough for you that the epithet of piety
It is enough for you as virtue that piety
Is ascribed to you, to the exclusion of others.
Is attributed to you beyond people.
