يا جامع الشمل المبدد

يا جامع الشمل المبدد

ومسدد الراي المسدد

ومسدد الراي المسدد

O gatherer of the scattered company,

O uniter of the scattered group

And guide of sound judgment,

And restorer of the broken opinion

يا منعماً إحسانه

يا منعماً إحسانه

في كل حال ليس يجحد

في كل حال ليس يجحد

O benefactor whose kindness

O one whose kindness

Is never denied in any circumstance,

In every situation is not denied

يا موضحاً نهج الهدى

يا موضحاً نهج الهدى

بشريعة الهادي محمد

بشريعة الهادي محمد

O You who make clear the path of guidance

O clarifier of the path of guidance

Through the law of Muhammad, the guide,

With the law of the guiding Muhammad

أستر على عبد إذا

أستر على عبد إذا

ما أشرك الكفار وحد

ما أشرك الكفار وحد

Conceal the faults of a servant who, when

Cover the sins of your servant if

The unbelievers ascribed partners to God, affirmed His oneness.

He associates not with the infidels alone

فعل القبيح تعمداً

فعل القبيح تعمداً

فاغفر لمعترف تعمد

فاغفر لمعترف تعمد

He committed evil deliberately;

If he intentionally commits an ugly deed

So forgive one who confesses he acted deliberately.

Then forgive the one who intentionally confessed

وأعد رضاك وعد على

وأعد رضاك وعد على

هفواته فالعود أحمد

هفواته فالعود أحمد

And restore Your favor, and once again pardon

And promise him your pleasure again

His lapses, for returning is more praiseworthy.

For his lapses, for returning is best

وابعث له الفرج القري

وابعث له الفرج القري

ب فصبره بالهم مبعد

ب فصبره بالهم مبعد

And send him relief that is close

And send him relief soon

At hand, for sorrow has driven his patience far away.

For his patience with worries is distant
