When spring unveiled her face
And fragrant breezes wafted along the gardens' edges,

Then the birds' minds took flight when they beheld it,
Birds' minds took flight at the sight
And the doves among them were indeed bewildered,

And, madly enamored of the gardens and their beauty,
In gardens' splendor they swooned and crazed
They sang out, with amulets around their necks.
