أَذودُهُمُI drive them away عَنكُمaway from you وَأَنتُمwhile you are رِئالَةٌa brood of ostrich chicks
أَذودُهُمُ عَنكُم وَأَنتُم رِئالَةٌ
شِلالاًdriving away كَماjust as ذيدَwere driven away النِهالُthe thirsty camels الخَوامِسُdue for their fifth-day watering
شِلالاً كَما ذيدَ النِهالُ الخَوامِسُ
I drive them away from you, while you are a brood of ostrich chicks,
I shield them from you as you stand there, weaklings,
Driving them off as thirsty camels due for their fifth-day watering are driven off.
Like saplings bending before the wind’s onslaught.
