وَتَداعى لِثَلمِيَ الأَيّامُ
Every day, a summit is shorn from me,
Every day my vigor diminishes
And the days have rallied to break me.
And the days gather to heal my wounds

I stand at every station where feet give way
Standing at every stop, they crumble
Before reaching it, or are shaken.
Under it, or my feet shake
