لا تَيأَسَنَّ فَرُبَّما

عَظُمَ البَلاءُ وَفُرِّجا

عَظُمَ البَلاءُ وَفُرِّجا

Do not despair, for sometimes

Do not despair, for oftentimes

affliction grows great and is relieved.

Great is the affliction, and relief comes after

قَد يَنسَخُ الخَوفَ الأَما

قَد يَنسَخُ الخَوفَ الأَما

نُ وَيَغلُبُ اليَأسَ الرَجا

نُ وَيَغلُبُ اليَأسَ الرَجا

Safety may dispel fear,

Fear may give way to safety

and hope overcome despair.

And despair may be overcome by hope
