    A stout-sinewed man, his robe trailing, has answered your call,

    Mighty, eloquent in council, a man of deeds,

    Before hopes summon him.

    If he speaks, his deeds do not fail him.

    He bestows bounty beyond what he receives.

    A gentle nature, its water pure and sweet,

    المالُ يَفنى وَالثَناءُ المالُ

    Like wine, except that it is lawful.

    Wealth perishes, and praise is wealth;

    Glory endures, and men pass away.
