مَتىwhen أَرىshall I see وَزيرَكُمyour vizier
مَتى أَرى وَزيرَكُم
وَماand not لَهُfor him مِنany وَزَرِrefuge
وَما لَهُ مِن وَزَرِ
When shall I see your vizier—
When will I see your minister
with no refuge for him—
Whose burden is so light?
يَقلَعُهُuproots him اللَهُGod فَذاfor this
يَقلَعُهُ اللَهُ فَذا
أَوانُthe season قَلعِuprooting الجَزَرِthe carrots
أَوانُ قَلعِ الجَزَرِ
uprooted by God? For this is
May God uproot him, for it's time
the season for uprooting carrots.
To uproot the deep roots.
