الوَردُ بِوَجنَتَيكَ زاهٍ زاهِر
وَالسِحرُand the enchantment بِمُقلَتَيكَin your two eyes وافٍfull وافِرabundant
وَالسِحرُ بِمُقلَتَيكَ وافٍ وافِر
The rose on your cheeks is radiant and blooming.
The rose with your cheeks is blooming and bright
And the enchantment in your eyes is full and abundant.
And the magic in your eyes is abundant and plentiful
وَالعاشِقُand the lover فيin هَواكَlove for you ساهٍdistracted ساهِرsleepless
وَالعاشِقُ في هَواكَ ساهٍ ساهِر
يَرجوhe hopes وَيَخافُand he fears فَهوَso he is شاكٍcomplaining شاكِرgrateful
يَرجو وَيَخافُ فَهوَ شاكٍ شاكِر
And the lover, in his passion for you, is distracted and sleepless.
And the lover in your love is sleepless and awake
He hopes and fears, so he complains and gives thanks.
