Oh, how lovely are Jobar’s breezes in the early morning!
O how delightful are the breezes of Jabbar in the morning
They are nothing but musk and camphor.
Bearing only musk and camphor

And the blossoms are strung upon its spreading trees,
And flowers arranged on its branches
and scattered upon the carpet of its gardens.
And scattered on the meadows of its gardens

Never does the air—long-ended hawāʾ—blow for us there
The gentle wind brings us only
except to deepen love—short-ended hawā.
To increase the confined passion

It is a paradise surrounded by its bliss
in its shade are its youths and the houris.
In its shade are maidens and fair ladies
