إِن دامَ طِبُّكَ هَذا

إِن دامَ طِبُّكَ هَذا

يا نَصرُ في كَفرِ عامِر

يا نَصرُ في كَفرِ عامِر

If this doctoring of yours continues,

O Nasr, in Kafr ʿAmir,

عَمَّرتَ عَمّا قَليلٍ

عَمَّرتَ عَمّا قَليلٍ

بِساكِنيها المَقابِر

بِساكِنيها المَقابِر

you will soon populate

the graveyards with its inhabitants.

فَظاهِرُ الأَرضِ قَفرٌ

فَظاهِرُ الأَرضِ قَفرٌ

وَباطِنُ الأَرضِ عامِر

وَباطِنُ الأَرضِ عامِر

Then the earth’s surface will be deserted,

and the earth’s depths will be populated.
