بِاللَهِ يا نَصرُ تُب فَما قَتَلَ ال

بِاللَهِ يا نَصرُ تُب فَما قَتَلَ ال

حَجّاجُ ما قَد قَتَلتَ يا رَجُلُ

حَجّاجُ ما قَد قَتَلتَ يا رَجُلُ

By God, Nasr, repent! For not even al-

By Allah, O Nasr, repent, for al-Hajjaj

Hajjaj killed as many as you have, O man!

Did not kill what you have killed, O man.

طِبُّكَ مِن طاعَةِ الحِمامِ لَهُ

طِبُّكَ مِن طاعَةِ الحِمامِ لَهُ

يَقتُلُ مَن لا دَنا لَهُ أَجَلُ

يَقتُلُ مَن لا دَنا لَهُ أَجَلُ

Your medicine, because death obeys it,

Your obedience to the pigeons is good for it,

Kills those whose appointed time has not drawn near.

It kills those whose time has not yet come.
