Hind taunts me for my gray hair; had she known
You mock me for my grey hair, Hind, but if only you knew -
the merit of my graying, ignorance would have left her heart.
Through the merit of my grey hair, ignorance has left her heart.

And a person is but a splendid, spreading tree;
A man is but a beautifully adorned panel,
When it blossoms with gray hair, its fruit is wisdom.
When blossomed with grey hair, the fruit is wisdom.
