The wine jar’s spigot kept drawing out its soul,

He still captures the soul of one's home as he did

as pearls are threaded through the holes.

وأمطر الكأس ماء من أبارقه

فأنبت الدر في أرض من الذهب

فأنبت الدر في أرض من الذهب

And he rained water into the cup from his ewers,

And he rained drink from his lightning

so he made pearls sprout in earth of gold.

Growing pearls in a land of gold

وسبح القوم لما أن رأو عجبا

نورا من الماء في نار من العنب

نورا من الماء في نار من العنب

And the company glorified God when they saw a marvel:

And the people praised when they saw wonder
