The garden’s resemblance to beloved women has

deepened the lovers’ love for them.

How many figures of boughs there are,

swaying with their suppleness and softness!

How many a cheek whose beauty spot gleams before us,

its blackness against its pure red hue!

And how many front teeth captivate with their fragrant breath!

And how many eyes enchant with their glance!

They furtively exchange winks, winking in fear of

their watcher, with their glance concealed.
