بعدafter انصرافيmy withdrawal منfrom عناقكyour embrace
بعد انصرافي من عناقك
my eye has not embraced sleep
The horizon never embraced
since I withdrew from your embrace.
After I left your embrace
لمَwhy لاnot أُلاقيI meet الموتَdeath فيfor
لمَ لا أُلاقي الموتَ في
كَyou وليwhile I have ثلاثٌthree [nights] لمdid not أُلاقِكI meet you
كَ ولي ثلاثٌ لم أُلاقِك
