بمؤمليك ولا بك الألمُ
فلقدfor indeed شكاhas lamented لشكاتكat your suffering الكرمُgenerosity
فلقد شكا لشكاتك الكرمُ
May pain befall those who place their hopes in you, not you.
Not with your pain, nor with you, is the agony,
For generosity has lamented your suffering.
For your complaints have most generously lamented.
عجبيmy wonder منat الآلامthe pains كيفhow غزتthey invaded
عجبي من الآلام كيف غزت
جسماًa body لهit has منfrom مجدهits glory حرمa sanctuary
جسماً له من مجده حرم
I marvel at the pains—how have they invaded
My wonder at pains - how they've conquered
a body whose glory affords it a sanctuary?
A body made sacred by its glory.
أنتyou الذيthe one who تجلىis cleared away بعزتهthrough his might
أنت الذي تجلى بعزته
صداthe rust الخطوبthe calamities وتكشفand is dispelled الظلمdarkness
صدا الخطوب وتكشف الظلم
You are the one whose might clears away
You it is who by your might appeared,
the rust of calamities and dispels darkness.
Repelling misfortunes and unveiling injustice.
