بَلَعْتَه يا شرَّ بَلاَّعِ
How many a thick penis, like a shepherd's staff,
How many sticks, like a shepherd's staff,
Have you swallowed, O worst of swallowers!
Have you swallowed, O voracious swallower,
ذيhaving فيشةٍa glans تُشْبِهresembling فُقَّاعةًa beer flask
ذي فيشةٍ تُشْبِه فُقَّاعةً
يَكشفُuncovers عنهاfrom it ذَيْلُthe robe hem of فُقَّاعيa beer-seller
يَكشفُ عنها ذَيْلُ فُقَّاعي
With a glans resembling a beer flask,
With a serpent's head resembling a bubble
Which a beer-seller's robe hem reveals;
Whose tail is revealed by a bubbler,
مُضَبَّرٍthickset يحملُcarrying إِضبارةًa bundle
مُضَبَّرٍ يحملُ إِضبارةً
مقدارُهاits dimensions باعانِtwo armspans فيby باعan armspan
مقدارُها باعانِ في باع
Thickset, carrying a bundle,
Covered in mud, carrying much mud,
Measuring two armspans by one.
As much as two arms' length in one arm,
رَمْيَتُهاits shot فيكinto you إذاwhen رَمَتْit fires
رَمْيَتُها فيك إذا رَمَتْ
أكثرُgreater منthan رَمْيَةِthe shot of مِقلاعa sling
أكثرُ من رَمْيَةِ مِقلاع
Its shot into you, when it fires,
If it throws at you when it throws,
Is greater than the shot of a sling.
More than the throw of a catapult.
