Spring arrived and was the fairest newcomer,
Spring arrived and was the fairest visitor,
from the flowers’ procession—the fairest procession.
From the flowers’ procession, the fairest procession.

حُلْيَيْنِ بينَ مُفَضَّضٍ ومُذَهَّبِ
The trees arrayed themselves, out of their leaves,
And the trees adorned themselves from their leaves
in two robes, one silvered and one gilded.
With two adornments, one silvered and one gilded.

Its two displays are like clothes racks; whenever you wish,
Like clothes racks in appearance; whenever you wish,
you may gaze upon a bough with short, branching forks.
You may look at a branch with a short hanging-peg.

Look at the beads strung above them,
Look at the seeds arrayed above them,
and at dew from atop that, rounded into beads.
And at the dew, beaded above that.
