خذْ من عدِّوكَ حِذْرَكْ

Be on your guard against your enemy,

Take caution from your enemy,

and do not give him control of your affairs.

جنِّبه خَيْرَك تَسْلَمْ

جنِّبه خَيْرَك تَسْلَمْ

منه وجنِّبه شَرَّكْ

Whenever you gladden an enemy,

then know that he will not gladden you.
