وتزيدُ بهجته على إِشراقه

Its color recalls for us refined gold,

and its beauty surpasses that gold's radiance.

فالشطر من أعلاه يحكي شكله

ثَدْيَ الكَعابِ إلى مدار نطاقه

For the shape of its upper half resembles

a budding maiden's breast, down to the circle of its girdle;
