والمُسْلِفِ الحالقِ والناتفْ
What a wonder—the spurious counterfeit,
O wonder at the bogus clamor
and the lender who shaves and plucks!
And the shaving, plucking impostor
لاnot صانكprotect you للهGod (text: 'for God') ولاand not صاننيprotect me
لا صانك لله ولا صانني
فيكwith regard to you فأنتfor you are الكلبةُthe bitch الصَّارِفin heat
فيك فأنت الكلبةُ الصَّارِف
May God not protect you, nor protect me
You bring me no honor, nor honor yourself
where you are concerned, for you are the bitch in heat.
For you are the bitch barker
