You gladdened my eye with that sight.
You delighted my eyes with that scene,
O fawn, whose beauty surpassed the fawn,
O beautiful one, whose beauty surpassed beauty.

When the bathhouse revealed you, you were as
When the doves surrounded you, you were like

What illusions narrated of you, nay more.

What lies outside the loincloth is sickness, but
No ailment is beyond the waist-wrapper, but
the cure for sickness lies within the loincloth.
The cure for ailments is in the waist-wrapper.
