قُلsay لِسَعيدto the fortunate one الجدfortune ياO واحدpeerless one
قُل لِسَعيد الجد يا واحد
فَضلكyour bounty قَدindeed عَمencompassed جَميعall العِبادpeople
فَضلك قَد عَم جَميع العِباد
Say to the man of happy fortune: O peerless one,
Tell Sa'eed of great deed, O one
Your bounty has encompassed all people.
Your favor has reached all creations
وَذكركand your renown الساميlofty سَماrose high وَارتَقىand ascended
وَذكرك السامي سَما وَارتَقى
وَشاعَand spread فيin أَطرافfar reaches كُلall البِلادlands
وَشاعَ في أَطراف كُل البِلاد
And your lofty renown has risen and soared,
And your sublime mention reached high
And spread to the far reaches of all lands.
And spread in every corner of countries
وَكَفكand your hand الهاميpouring forth عَليناupon us همىrained down
وَكَفك الهامي عَلينا همى
ياO طالَماhow often جادَbestowed generously بِنيلwith the attainment of المُرادwhat is desired
يا طالَما جادَ بِنيل المُراد
And your pouring hand has rained down upon us—
And your generous palm upon us rained
Oh, how often it has generously granted the fulfillment of wishes!
O how often it was generous in attaining the sought
دركyour pearl قَدindeed تَمwas completed وَتاريخهand its date
درك قَد تَم وَتاريخه
قَدindeed فاضَoverflowed مِنfrom جودكyour generosity مَوجwaves وَزادand increased
قَد فاضَ مِن جودك مَوج وَزاد
Your pearl is complete, and its date is:
Your cycle has completed and its history
From your generosity, waves have overflowed and swelled.
Has overflowed from your generosity a surge and increase
