تَمَسكت مِن رَبي بِأَوثق عُروة

تَمَسكت مِن رَبي بِأَوثق عُروة

وَأَنزلت آمالي بِه وَمَطالبي

وَأَنزلت آمالي بِه وَمَطالبي

I have held fast to the firmest handhold from my Lord,

I clung to my Lord's secure rope

And entrusted to Him my hopes and my requests.

And lowered my hopes and needs with Him
