فنادِ أباكَ يُورد ما عليه

فنادِ أباكَ يُورد ما عليه

فإن الماءَ أيمَنُ أو جُبارُ

فإن الماءَ أيمَنُ أو جُبارُ

So call your father to lead what is in his charge to water.

Call your father to restore what he owes,

For the watering place is Ayman or Jubār.

For water is more rightful or tyrannous.

وصَعّد إن أصلك من مُعالِ

وصَعّد إن أصلك من مُعالِ

بِبَيذخَ حيث تعرفُكَ الديارُ

بِبَيذخَ حيث تعرفُكَ الديارُ

And go upcountry, for your roots lie in Muʿāl,

And ascend if your lineage is from Mu'al,

At Baydhakh, where the dwellings know you.

To Baydakh where the abodes will know you.
