دَعينيleave me وَأَمريand my business سَأَكفيكِهI shall handle it for you
دَعيني وَأَمري سَأَكفيكِه
وَكونيand be قَعيدَةِa woman who stays put بيتٍa house ضِباعاDiba‘a
وَكوني قَعيدَةِ بيتٍ ضِباعا
Leave me to my business; I shall handle it for you.
And stay at home, Diba‘a.
فَإِنَّكِfor indeed you لَنwill not تُرشِديyou guide غاوِياًone gone astray
فَإِنَّكِ لَن تُرشِدي غاوِياً
وَلَنand will not تُدرِكيyou recover لَكِfor yourself حَظّاًa share مُضاعاlost
وَلَن تُدرِكي لَكِ حَظّاً مُضاعا
For you will not guide one gone astray,
Nor will you recover a lost share for yourself.
