قَطَعتُ بِسَمحَةٍ كَالفَحلِ عَجلى
مُواشِكَةًhastening إِذاwhen جَنَحَinclined toward sunset الأَصيلُthe late afternoon
مُواشِكَةً إِذا جَنَحَ الأَصيلُ
I travelled on a willing, swift she-camel, like a bull camel,
I cut with a sword like a mighty stallion
Hastening when the late afternoon inclined toward sunset.
Charging forth when the noble steed takes flight
