Calamities and days have left of Namir
The vicissitudes of fate and time
the remnants of an old sword, its pattern plain.
Are like an old sword with traces remaining.

You keep digging for it if you strike with it,
If you were to strike with it, it would keep digging
to the depth of two forearms, two shins, and the neck.
Beyond the reach of both arms and legs.
