حَتّى يُؤامِرَ نَفسَيهِ كَما زَعَما
As for my friend, I will not hurry him
My friend, I won't rush him
Until he consults his two souls, as he has claimed.
Until he makes up his mind, as he claims.

One soul of his, among the people's souls, is virtuous;
He has a soul purer than others,
We give lavishly, while another soul nurses the sheep.
We give generously, a soul that nurtures the flock.
