غَلَبتَ مُلوكَ الأَرضِ بِالحَزمِ وَالنُهى

غَلَبتَ مُلوكَ الأَرضِ بِالحَزمِ وَالنُهى

فَأَنتَ اِمرُؤٌ في سورَةِ المَجدِ تَرتَقي

فَأَنتَ اِمرُؤٌ في سورَةِ المَجدِ تَرتَقي

You have surpassed the kings of the earth through resolve and wisdom.

You have overcome the kings of earth with wisdom and great command

So you are a man ascending the heights of glory.

So you have climbed the summit of glory and renown

وَأَنجِب بِهِ مِن آلِ نَصرٍ سَمَيدَعٍ

وَأَنجِب بِهِ مِن آلِ نَصرٍ سَمَيدَعٍ

أَغَرَّ كَلَونِ الهُندُوانِيَّ رَونَقِ

أَغَرَّ كَلَونِ الهُندُوانِيَّ رَونَقِ

And how noble he is—a generous lord of the house of Nasr,

And fathered, through her, from the house of Nasr, princes

Radiant, his luster like the hue of an Indian blade.

Fairer than the hue of Indian steel
