فَلا يَدعُني قَومي لِنَصرِ عَشيرَتي

فَلا يَدعُني قَومي لِنَصرِ عَشيرَتي

لَئِن أَنا لَم أَجلِب عَلَيهِم وَأُثقِبِ

لَئِن أَنا لَم أَجلِب عَلَيهِم وَأُثقِبِ

So let my people not call upon me to aid my clan,

Let not my people leave me to aid my tribe,

if I do not muster forces against them and kindle war.

Though I have not brought down on them ruin and coffin’d.
