إِنَّindeed شَرَّthe worst of الناسِpeople مَنone who يَكشِرُgrins ليat me
إِنَّ شَرَّ الناسِ مَن يَكشِرُ لي
حينَwhen أَلقاهُI meet him وَإِنand if غِبتُI am absent شَتَمhe reviles
حينَ أَلقاهُ وَإِن غِبتُ شَتَم
Indeed, the worst of people is one who grins at me
The worst of people is he who smiles at me
when I meet him, yet reviles me when I am absent.
When we meet, but scolds me when I'm away
